The homepage claims free delivery for orders over £150. But when you get to the final checkout page, they sneak in an extra £10 charge. Free delivery only applies if you're nearby. It's a bit sneaky; they ought to make that clear from the start.

Total waste of time, don’t even bother. They claim it’s in stock, but then call you the next day to say it needs to be delivered, which is supposed to take 14 days, but then they say it could take up to 23 days. So indecisive.

The customer support was fantastic, and we got the best deal on the product. We ran into a problem with the warranty dates, but they sorted it out fast and smoothly.

Fantastic service! I found out that the product I wanted was out of stock, so they called me up to let me know when it would be available and shipped. If I didn’t feel like waiting, they offered to give me my money back. It arrived right on time.

Everything went smoothly - I paid a little more for them to install it and take away the old one. Totally worth it, 'cause the installation was easy, but the delivery crew really hustled to get it done and tackle some unexpected hiccups.

BEACON ELECTRONICS – not so bright! I bought a FreeView Box from Beacon Electronics in Plymouth, and when I got it home, it turned out to be ‘not fit for purpose’. Dan and Luke at their Totnes location were the ones who gave me the wrong info and sold me the product. I’ve asked for a full refund of £209.00, but they’re not willing to give it back. I reached out to MARK HIGGINS, the MD of the company, to explain what happened and request a refund. All I got was a short, snarky email from Mr. Higgins saying ‘that’s not gonna happen’. It’s odd since they claim to be a family business with a “customer friendly” policy, and you can find most of their stuff on Amazon anyway. My advice? Go to their stores for advice and to check out products, then just order from Amazon where you can return things and GET REFUNDS without any hassle! I’m taking this to the local Small Claims Court – and I’ll keep you posted on what happens!
